Monthly Raffle Basket
We have a raffle basket at each monthly meeting. Each month a different member donates the basket and tickets are $1.00 each. The money collected is donated to Aunt Mary's Storybook Project, a program that allows incarcerated parents to reach out to their children by audio taping a book and a personal message, which is mailed to their child. $25 allows a mom to audio tape a book for each of her children.

Baby Quilts
Teen Parent Connection works with adolescent parents and their babies to promote self-sufficiency. Individual Guild members and Bees make quilts to donate to the teen parents. A representative of Teen Parent Connection was at our March meeting to receive our yearly donation of quilts. Here are a few of them:

Quilt Show Charity
The Guild hosts a bi-annual quilt show. Proceeds from the raffle quilt(s), raffle baskets and silent auction are donated to a charity. Guild members are able to suggest charities, which are voted on by the entire membership to determine the charity for the current show.
